How many times have you asked yourself "if only I could find an honest auto shop?"  This is the one.

John does all of our work that's not dealer warranty and we have never been disappointed.  I have even asked to do work only to have him come back and say it didn't need to be done.

They are busy, because they are just that good.  But I couldn't give a higher recommendation.

The customer service is great, the phone will be answered by a gruff sounding man that sounds like he's got a lot on his hands - but they'll listen -

They're on Roanoke ave avoid from the BP gas station and right behind Colonial Heights Collision.

     Easy to find.

The office inside is your basic mechanics office, they're one with their lack if feminine decorative skills but it looks nice and welcoming.

I spoke with Harry,  very helpful man who told me the price of tires.

Currently they're checking my car to see exactly what I need.

They are incredibly helpful and aren't trying to squeeze money out of me where I don't need to and can't afford to spend it.

I'm incredibly happy that I've found this place!

I have been going to John at Colonial Tire and Auto for about 2 years now, after a family member recommendation.  Just got some work done today and wanted to leave a review.  I have never had such a good experience with a mechanic.  I started going there to get second opinions after other shops quoted much higher for repairs - now my wife and I just go straight to Colonial!  Work is always fast, fair, and I always feel better when I leave the shop.  Nobody likes taking their car for repairs, but I will never go anywhere else.

I work a very tight schedule so called ahead to see if I could make an appointment to have my brakes examined/fixed while I waited. I was told to simply bring the car in at 7:30 AM and they would take care of me.

Prior to this shop, I was quoted $400 to have my  brake issue fixed. It was for the replacement of the front pads and discs, as well as the cleaning of the back drums. I did not mention this to Colonial Tire & Auto. I just mentioned the sound.

The manager/owner spoke with me and my car was immediately brought into the shop. At about 08:10 AM he told me what I needed done (front pads/discs, back drum cleaning), and quoted a price of $210. I gladly accepted.

The work was done by about 09:15 AM.
